She didn't like the water at first (sorry the pic is so fuzzy, I clicked the wrong one and can't figure out how to change it)
Just playing in the sand
Crawling in the water.
She had sand EVERYWHERE!! The whole trip and several days after we were cleaning sand off her:)
My family hanging out at the beach.
Run Devin, it's gonna get you!
Hadley digging something
What is this strange place dad?
HI!
Don't these tan lines make you sick?! And yup, Hadley is like 5 shades darker than Devin, everyone thinks Devin is dark like peter but Hadley has my Boughton skin...I tanned that good as a kid too! (and this is with 50spf sprayed on every two hours every day!) Most of our trip was spent just lounging at the beach. We did go to seaworld and legoland on tuesday and thursday but sunday, monday, wednesday and friday we just hung out at the beach. Sunday we had booked a local photographer to take family pics for us, luckily when we explained that we hadn't gotten to bed til 4am that day, she let us reschedule for the next day. Once we get them I will post them on here.
We love the beach, someday we will live there...mark my words!! Hadley and Devin just ran around and dug in the sand. Hadley made like 3 new best friends...as he does anywhere we go:) One of them let him use their boogie/body board and he was hooked...we had to go buy him one. He was very brave this year, we actually had to keep telling him to quit going out so far. At first Lexi didn't like the water so much, she would lift her legs to stay out of it but by the second day she loved it! Our first kid who hasn't been scared of it (til they were older) once she got used to the sand she would crawl around and when the water would come up on her she just loved it. In fact, she kept trying to crawl out to sea and we had to grab her. When we would hold her and the waves would come up she would just laugh and laugh. It was so cute, guess she loves the beach as much as the rest of us!

It was fun and relaxing. I finally got to read my new Mary Higgins Clark book that has been sitting on my counter for several months (it was good, one of her better "new" ones...although none seem to live up to her first 20 or so)
