Our Lot.

We decided to go take a picture of our lot that we will be building on, cuz let's face it...we are awesome and awesome people take pictures of really cool things...like empty dirt lots?!:)

We are so excited, I wish they would just start building already...I may head over there with a shovel myself this weekend:) They said they are expecting our permits august 14th, YAY! We are so excited to get our house built and get settled in.

Sorry in advance to all our future neighbors who have to live with our construction for the next few months:)

American Idol

I got hooked on AI this year. I looked into buying tickets a few weeks ago but only crappy ones were left. but there was a notice saying that they save good seats and randomly release them. So I figured I would try later when we got home from vacation. Peter saved the day cuz I totally forgot about it til this morning. but i got on and got tickets. we weren't sure where we were sitting cuz our section wasn't on the seating chart. Well, it was a new section they just added a couple days ago right by the stage. We were in the first row. if my arm had been 1o inches longer I could have touched the stage...and if they had taken the stupid barricades down. My friend Julie went with me...Thanx to our hubbies who stayed home with the kids and got them to bed and all that for us!! we love you! It was so much fun.

(we had a little trouble finding seats in the dark and getting situated so I didnt' get a pic of the first guy...and I can't even remember his name..oops:)

A is for Adam and AWESOME!!! I know some of you can't stand him..but he is my fave! And let me say, if you thought he was wild and dramatic on AI...that was nothing. he was so confined on that show. He was wild and crazy and flamboyuant and all that tonight...a thousand times more rock n roll than on AI. I video'd his whole performance of Mad World..but in the dark I hit the wrong button to stop recording and deleted it, sniff sniff:(

These older ladies were behind us wearing their "Glambert" shirts. it was funny. they just sat there thru the whole show, then when Adam came on they were right up at the stage yelling and screaming with all of us:)
