Finally getting another vaction day done! Let me start out by saying that I LOVE Seaworld. Other than the temple, it is my absolute favorite place on earth!!! My entire life I have wanted to be a trainer there, it never happened...but oh well, I still love it. Normally when we go, we go for two days. We go the first day and catch all the shows, which can take all day, then the second day we go and see everything else. This year we decided to cram it all into one day so we could do legoland too. Since we have been so many times we wanted to make it a little funner this time. We did breakfast with Shamu this time. We got to go and eat right next to the killer whale tank and the trainers had them do tricks and come up next to us. It was so awesome! Lexi didn't like it, she would scream everytime they slid up next to us. The boys, of course, didn't eat anything cuz they just wanted to watch the whales. It was so much fun though and made the day very special...next time...Dolphin trainer for a day!!

I had to get a picture of this kid. His parents had made him an optimus prime costume. While it was the coolest thing ever...I hate parents like this! I swear it's their life goal to make the rest of us "un-crafty" parents feel like losers!:)

We were all very excited for halloween this year because for the first time since we have had kids...Peter had it off!!!! Now, I will admit, I am not that into halloween. I just don't get those people who really get into with the decorations and all that, guess it's just not my thing. But, we still had fun.

That morning we went to Hadley's school for the halloween parade, which if you have never been to one means you go, sit in a hard metal chair, wait, wait and wait some more. Then, usually about 40 minutes late...it starts. you sit while the WHOLE school parades thru the halls and lunchroom in front of you. Of course we saw Hadley in the first five minutes but didn't want to be rude and leave so we sat thru the rest of it...we are such good people:).

We do feel like horrible parents in the pumkin department this year. Normally we paint our pumpkins. It's just alot easier and neater. Last year we got brave and carved them so of course that's what the kids wanted to do this year. Normally we carve them about a week and a half before halloween but somehow time just got away from us this year. We promised them we would do them the day before halloween cuz daddy was off. All day long we were dreading doing it, so we bribed them not to carve them this year! Yes, we admit it, we bribed our children out of a holiday tradition.
overall, despite getting drenched in rain while trick-or-treating, we had a lot of fun!

New Discovery!

I made a new discovery this last week...I have abs!:) I had pretty much thought they were gone after 3 babies. I have been going to the gym these last couple weeks and I try to push myself pretty hard...if I am not sore the next day, I didn't work out hard enough. I hadn't been doing sit-ups at all but the other day I grabbed a ball and figured what the heck...I will give it a try...I can barely breathe today without searing abdominal pain! (but good pain)
So, I figure that if they hurt...they are still there!!! There is hope!:) now if only I could get Peter to stop sabotaging my diet by buying junk, more importantly those big chocolate cakes from costco..you know the ones I am talking about:) Do you have any idea how hard it is to reach into the fridge and grab carrots when one of those monsters is staring you down?! ( I admit it, I have the will power of a 3 year old)

Someday...

Someday I will get caught up on my vacation posts...all my posts for that matter! I go thru phases with blogging. Sometimes I get really caught up with it and blog at least once a day, then I go for a stretch where I have no desire to blog at all...that's been this last week or so.
I got on the computer tonight(peter's 16hr shift) with every intention of at least getting another vacation day post on here. But, our computer has been so retarded lately, really slow and freezing up. I decided that maybe the fact that we had a couple thousand pictures saved on it was slowing it down so I decided that I would save them all to discs and then delete them. Needless to say that took a couple hours so now I don't have the time to do my vacation post...next wednesday for sure! On the bright side our computer doesn't seem to be quite as slow. It shouldn't be slow anyway it's only 2.5 years old, I guess that's like 112 in computer years though:).
I guess I will just do a couple little posts while I am waiting for Peter to get home. I got tagged again. I just have to say though...I don't know if I am going to do it this time! I was a good sport last time and did my tag..then I tagged people...as per the rules of tagging. But, only one person even played along...yeah I am talking to you Miriam, Mary, Melissa S., Melissa D. and Leigh!! But, you know what...I am such a good, nice, forgiving...all-around awesome person...that I am going to do it anyway. Plus I know you are all just dying to know more info about me!:)
I just have to say really quick, everyone that I have read that has done this tag(this tag seems to be making it's way around alot right now) has put "pay tithing" under the millionaire question...I am not going to put that and I want to explain so you don't think I am horrible... to me, it didn't make sense to answer pay tithing for something I would do if I were a millionaire cuz I would do it even if I weren't...so there:)

The other day we were downstairs getting the boys ready for bed and it suddenly dawned on me that Lexi wasn't in the room. I went looking for her and found her in the bathroom. She had climbed up the stool and was brushing her teeth. It was so stinking cute! She would chew on the toothbrush and every once in a while she would hit it on the side of the sink.

She has turned into such a monkey lately. She climbs everything. the bathroom stool, the stairs, the fireplace...she loves to climb!

My dear friend Mary came to town a while ago for her sister's wedding. Mary was my very first roomate at Rick's College and has stayed one of my best friends ever since! I love her!:) Anyway, life kinda got in the way and we hadn't seen each other for almost 2 years, that's why I was so happy when she called me while she was in town. She didn't have alot of time so I just went to her hotel and hung out with her and her family for a few hours..it was good to see all of them too...they were my adopted family when we were roomates...wether they liked it or not:)

In the two years we hadn't seen each other my Mary had a baby...who is like 19 months old now (I am totally guessing his age) and we were able to introduce him and Lexi. I tell you...I am a little wary of him, he seems to be a real ladies man. Stroking her hair and contantly trying to kiss her! He has like 10 girlfriends already...I think I will keep him away from her:)

anway, it was so good to see them and it better not be another two years this time!!!

Snow!

It snowed all weekend!

Wow, only like 5 more vacation posts and I will be done:) They take so long to post cuz of all the pictures..blazing fast connection...yeah right! The only time I have time to post anything with alot of pics is on wednesday's (when peter works his 16hr shift) so I better be good and keep up on all the little things in between.

This is what we woke up to Sunday morning. And I am not kidding...less than a week ago we were using our air conditioner. Gotta love fall in Utah. Hot one day, snow the next!

Lexi had her first encounter with the snow, and she did not like it one bit. Whenever we leave the door to the deck open, she crawls to the stairs as fast as she can. this day was no different except she didn't realize that there was 2 inches of snow on it. I tried to get a picture of her face when she first touched it but she freaked out too quick! I kinda got a pic after I picked her up, it's not the greatest but it gets across how she feels about the snow!
