Well, I am still alive. People have been letting me know that apparently I am not posting as much as usual...not that any of you post that often either!:) I will admit I usually post more but I am just going thru a no-computer phase. I just have no desire to get on here and do anything even though I have a ton of pics and stuff I should update on. one of these days...
Devin spent 2 days in the hospital, we have a "theory" but still not a definate answer. He has some sort of MAST cell disorder and his body is releasing histimine and it shouldn't and it's causing these allergic reactions in his body. He is on meds and we are going to give it a few months and see what happens.
Once he was released we pretty much just wasted the rest of spring break recovering and Lexi got that stomach bug that was going around. none of the rest of us got it but she had it for 4 days! It was no fun.
now spring break is over and we are back in the swing of things. Our days are a little hectic, well I guess our afternoons and evenings are. Hadley has Baseball games on Mondays and wednesdays and practice on Thursdays and fridays. He has soccer practice and scouts on Tuesdays and Soccer games on Saturdays. Devin also has soccer practice on Tuesdays and games on Saturdays...this is our busy time of year with sports!
I found Devin a new preschool out here and there are several boys from our ward in it so hopefully he can start meeting some friends.
Hadley is making lots of new friends at school and sports and having a blast.
We had a couple days of nice weather and people started coming out of their houses and we have met alot of people these last couple of weeks. Peter is even going shooting with some of the guys from our ward on saturday.
I am actually starting to get the itch to unpack and decorate:) I was so sick of packing and unpacking that I just unpacked the essentials and have ignored everything else. but now I am wanting to get my house in order.
anyhoo, one of these days I am sure I will get back on here and catch up.

quick update
So Devin had another one of his "espisodes" last night. The ambulance took him to the tooele hospital then they transferred him to Primary Children's. They were gonna send him home again cuz he seemed fine but I put my foot down. I told them i was tired of not having answers and that we weren't leaving til they did everything they could to get me some. So they admitted him and are going to spend a day or two running tests.
He is having a blast. Thinks it's so cool to lay in bed and watch tv all day. He loves that he can control his bed;)
anyhoo, we aren't sure how long we will be here. but we will update as soon as we know anything.

Soccer.
Today were the boys first soccer games. While exciting, it sucked cuz it was like 50 below zero outside! ok, that's an exaggeration, it was only like 20 below:)
posing before we left. these uniforms are definetely not as nice looking as our old ones, but definetely more cost friendly. They are reversable shirts, the other side is blue. And one team wears the blue side and one the white. All ages use the same shirts so your kids can just hand them down to siblings. (alisa, you should tell Roger about this if he is looking for ways to make soccer more affordable) then they just come with basic black shorts (it was too cold to wear them today)
Hadley practicing with his coach before the game...yup, he is all bundled up in his winter coat:) his team is the blue/white dragons (depending what side of the shirt they are wearing) they won today 8-0, hadley scored 2 of the goals.
Devin's game. He is also bundled up. They are also the blue/white dragons....thanx to Devin overhearing Hadley's team pick a name:) (hadley wasn't happy) I missed most of his game to take lexi home and get her down so I don't know the score. I asked Devin and he said that his team got 999 and the other team got 1.

We finally got back on a normal routine and had our first pizza/movie night in our new house. The tradition had been pushed to the back burner a little with all the craziness of the last month.
First I got these cute new pans, my friend Julie told me about them. They are called Skookie pans and they are little dutchoven skillets. We got Bridge to Tarabithia for our movie...big dissappointment. I guess I never read the book cuz I was suprised at the movie. The previews had made it out to look along the lines of a Narnia type of movie...it wasn't. Oh well, the kids still sat and watched the whole thing.

Our favorite time of year has rolled around again...Baseball!!! We love to watch Hadley play baseball, he really has a natural talent for it and Peter has been working with him for years on it. We get so into it and totally become the crazy baseball parent's..ok, I become the crazy baseball mom:)
Baseball practice has started and games start in a couple weeks, woo hoo!
The other day we bought one of these
Peter drilling a hole to hang it up.

We are still trying to get used to how they do homework here. (it would be alot easier if everyone here would just do what I am used too:)) At Hadley's old school they sent home one paper a day, usually one-sided of math. then he had spelling words and reading everyday. Here, they send home a pack once a week. You then have the whole week to do it (which I think just teaches procrastination..oh wait, they already learned that from me) Well, he had 9 pages of homework, lots of spelling words and these weird math timed tests he has never seen. Well, he left his homework at school thursday and friday so he only had monday and tuesday to get it done...he wasn't happy. I always make him write his spelling words 5 times each and every time he complains or gets up before it's done, I add another time (you would think he would just learn) well, he kept goofing off so I told him he had to write them 6 times each. the fit below followed:)

Cold weather.
Some of the things we have done this week while stuck inside with this freezing "spring" weather. Mother Nature was mean and last saturday it was almost 70...I actually got sunburned when we went to the park. Since then it has been snowing almost every day and/or raining and just plain cold.
Lexi decided to try and carry her bunny around the house, she fell.
We taught her to put her finger on her mouth and say shhhhh.
I walked in her room and found her sitting in her rocking chair cuddling her baby.

And this is what he drew? There was more chalk on him than on the sidewalk.

We spent an entire day putting Hadley's Neoshifter together (by we I mean "I" spent the day trying to decipher the directions)

Lexi discovered E.L. Fudge double stuffed:)

You can make your big brother push you on your bike inside.

background.
well, obviously I was wrong in thinking that it was supposed to be spring. So I will take Mother Nature's big fluffy white hints and bring back my winter background.
spring break part 2
ok, so I decided not to go to Idaho. Sorry the whole 2 of you that responded:( that's ok, I understand, I am not that exciting:)
Anyhoo, we just decided to have a "staycation" cuz we are just cool like that. I am just going to find something fun to do everyday here in Utah, we will be tourists in our own home:)
I will let you know how it goes.
