Easter eggs.

We hid our own eggs around the yard for the kids to do a hunt..to make it fair we hid equal amounts of 3 different colors and each kid could only collect a certain color.

Lexi didn't really understand it and took some coaching.

Dad helping, he couldn't remember where he had hid some of them (keep in mind he had hidden them like 30 minutes before!:)

The Stansbury Park Easter egg hunt. They pretty much just threw a ton of eggs all over the ground and then marked it off into different age groups.

Then the firetruck blew it's horn and everyone just ran out and started grabbing.

The Easter bunny was there, in my opinion he was looking a little on the creepy side this year so we didn't go over:)

Daddy and Lexi waiting for it to start, it's not easy to keep a 1 year old from grabbing eggs before she is supposed to! When she could finally go, she walked out, grabbed one egg and was done!

The kids with their spoils. They didn't get a ton but they did better than last year. Last year I gave them a talk about not pushing people out of the way and don't take an egg somebody else is reaching for, be nice etc etc... and they worked so hard to be nice, they walked away with nothing. This year I told them to just go for it, but don't be too mean:)

Lexi had to get on the counter and be a part of it. well, she tried anyway...I was not about to let her near the dye!
