Our Spring.

Time to play catch-up with the memory card. Monday I am leaving town for a girl's trip (YAY!!) so I gotta empty it and catch up on our last few months before I go. Our spring (although it was more extended winter-like weather) was mostly full of baseball and soccer. here are some pics from our last few months....and they got totally messed up and out of order, sorry.

This sport took most of our time. Hadley was on the Angel's and Devin was on the Dodger's this year. They both had alot of fun.

I love T-ball, it's so cute and all the parents are still nice to each other:)
look at all those cute Dodger's out there.

I went on the kindergarten field trip to the zoo with Devin.
This is 2 of his good friends, Tyler and Braydon and him on the bus ready to go.

So here is an out of order one...Hadley just finished school yesterday but the kindergarten finished last friday. they did a program for the parents...devin is way in the back row.

Right there:)

Devin with his teacher, Mrs.Hyre.

The kids got a hold of my camera I guess and took pics of each other.

On Memorial day, my friend and I were work widows so we got together and hung out. we went to the park for the afternoon then to her house for a fire with hotdogs and smores after.
Lexi was determined to fill up her little pool. She would fill up a cup at the fridge, carry it all the way outside and dump it...she did that for a good 20 minutes before we got her to stop.

Back to get more water!

We discovered that Devin is not so good at roasting marshmallows.

Don't those babies just make your mouth water?!

Tanya got stuck giving wagon rides.

Hadley learned the hard way that metal get's hot when on fire and burnt his hand. he walked around with it in a glass of water the rest of the night.

Hadley got to pitch for the first time last week. he did an ok job for never having done it before.

His coach gave him the game ball afterwards. we took it home and wrote the date on it so he would always remember the first game he pitched.

Soccer finished up for both the boys today. Devin had a little party earlier this week. Hadley had a party today that was pretty fun, we rented bounce houses and had a bbq...and of course I forgot my camera.

Hadley has one more baseball game on Monday, that unfortunately I will miss. then we are done with the crazy sports.
Hadley tried out for the comp soccer team this year. He made both the U10 and U11 teams. The coaches let us choose, we really didn't want him to play up but his current coach was going to be the assistant for the U11 team and Hadley really wanted to stay with him. We start practices for that next week and it should be fun. lots of traveling and I am sure it will be a little crazy...but lots of fun. I can't wait!
There have been alot of fun days this spring that I don't always remember to bring my camera to...The drive-in and movie nights and trips to slc and the park...it's been a fun few months and we continue to love it more and more out here!

Spring break 2010

We have only been home a month now and I finally getting around to posting about our vacation. Life has been crazy with baseball and soccer for both the boys. Hadley has baseball m-w-f and soccer thursday and saturday. Devin has soccer wednesday and saturday and baseball usually t & th for games and a couple days of practice too, his schedule isn't set which is kind of annoying. but, between playing chauffer and sitting at games and don't forget to throw scouts and school and homework into the mix...blogging about vacations has taken a backseat.

We went to southern california for spring break this year. it was so nice and warm and wonderful to get away.
we weren't sure what lexi would think of the beach, the last time she was there she was 10mo. old. but she loved it and now that we are home she keeps asking to go to the beach or to go swimming.

we went and checked out the beach as soon as we got there and when peter set lexi down she freaked out for about 10 seconds then started playing and didn't want to go.

Our first night there we had a bbq outside. this was the pose I got when I tried to take a picture of peter bbq'ing.

mmm, watermelon!

The place we stayed was pretty fun...we played some tennis.

and played on the playground.

The boys got to sleep on murphy beds which they thought was really cool.

we did some swimming at the pool.

and the hot tub.

The beach had these huge sand cliffs that the boys had fun exploring.

Our 2nd day there we met up with our friends who were in town at the same time and went to Legoland.
Devin was so excited that he was old enuf to do the big kid cars this year.

Hadley was thinking that he was a little too old for it this time:)

Lexi and baby Brynley hung out in the stroller all day. Since I get SUPER motion sick, I was the designated stroller watcher so us 3 girls hung out all day.

All the boys doing a ride.
mark,devin,ci,jared,brig,hadley and peter.

The boys doing the slide together (minus peter who had to go alone the next trip down cuz there wasn't enuf room)
Brig, Ci, Jared, Devin, Mark(stuck up top still) and Hadley

We tried the aquarium this year (when you love seaworld as much as we do...it was kinda lame)
Hadley hanging by the jellies.

The boys hanging with the lego man.

Lexi loved seeing the Nemo fish...on a side note, I could totally quote that movie word for word:)

Hanging with Spongebob.

Back at the condo playing with the Lego's they got that day.

We had several days of just hanging out at the beach.

and watching the surfer's from the pier.

There was one day there that was cold and rainy so we went and hung out at Chuck-E-Cheese. went to see How to Train Your Dragon and then went bowling.

Dang Hadley was good! rolled a strike his first turn! I really should be proud, since I am his mom, but it's almost annoying at how well he can do everthing we throw at him. I have yet to see him not do a sport well. he even gave peter a run for his money at tennis.

I had to take a picture of the end scores because not only did I beat my 54 from last time (not really hard to do) but I beat everyone...guess I can't be too proud of beating my kids...but I beat Peter!:)

And, of course we had to go to Seaworld! cuz we LOVE Seaworld!

Lexi was so excited watching other people take pictures with them...until she realized we expected her to do it too.

Waiting for the 4-D Elmo show to start.

Lexi waving goodbye to Shamu as we walked out of the show.

The boys playing with the sting rays.

Seaworld had special hours the week we were there because they did a special night-time Shamu show, so we were there ALL day! It was so much fun tho.
The sea lions did a night show too and it was a show making fun of all the other Seaworld shows, it was so funny. both their day and night show had me laughing so hard!
the best part is the pre-show entertainment. I only managed to get one pic and almost didn't get it because I was laughing so hard. the guy had music playing and would go behind a box and come out dressed up as that singer or song, and dance. he did michael jackson and the jonas brothers and a whole bunch...but when lady gaga started playing and he came out dressed like this, I almost fell off the bench laughing. who knows, maybe you had to be there but it was pretty funny!

The nighttime Shamu show.

and they finished up with some of these. it was a fantastic day!

We had a half a day in Vegas on the way home. We took the kids to Rainforest Cafe for dinner and sat next to this guy...with how much Lexi loves elephants I thought she would be in heaven...nope, she was scared to death!

Not sure what exactly is going on here.

and then it was time to go home:( it was so much fun, Peter is already trying to plan a trip back in September. and on the drive home I had to take this picture because lexi insisted she wanted a drink from Peter's mug...it was almost as big as her!

and when we got home, the kids were excited to see that the easter bunny had come to our house while we were gone!
